Market Program Manager

About the role

The Market Program Manager leads the client‑choice food market serving low‑income individuals and families in Eastern Oklahoma. Reporting to the Senior Director, the role ensures smooth daily operations, compliance with USDA regulations, and a dignified experience for all clients.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate, lead, and mentor staff and volunteers to meet program goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including inventory control, food sourcing, and distribution.
• Maximize use of donated food while minimizing purchased inventory and waste.
• Ensure compliance with USDA food‑distribution regulations and funding requirements.
• Maintain balanced, nutritious food options for clients.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance and reporting documents.
• Support annual inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with CCEOK teams and community partners for outreach, education, and fundraising events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Food safety and handling certification or ability to obtain one.
• 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience (preferred).
• 1–2 years of customer service or retail food experience (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Alignment with Catholic ethical standards and willingness to engage in ministry practices.

Required skills
