Market Consultant – Asset Management Sales

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Market Consultant to join its asset‑management sales team. You will work closely with the Market Leader, Internal Market Consultant, and Division Sales Director to grow client relationships and drive investment strategy adoption across a defined territory.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with firm objectives.
• Build and deepen differentiated client relationships, expanding existing accounts and acquiring new profitable ones.
• Identify and engage financial advisors who present opportunities for Invesco investment strategies.
• Travel within the territory to meet clients, COIs, and host client events.
• Deliver product presentations via face‑to‑face meetings, phone, WebEx, seminars, and conferences.
• Apply a consultative approach, offering solutions before products to meet client needs.
• Leverage digital and data‑driven tools to execute client segmentation and strategic business plans.
• Conduct portfolio construction and manager‑selection consultations for advisors, CIOs, CFAs, and analysts.

Required profile

• High work ethic with an entrepreneurial, growth‑mindset.
• Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 3 years of asset‑management sales experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred.
• CFA, CIMA or similar certification is a plus.
• Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required (Series 66 acceptable).
• Strong technical investment expertise covering mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and capital‑markets dynamics.
