Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician will support the introduction of new products and continuous improvement of existing production lines. Working on‑site, you will assess feasibility, create work plans and bills of materials, and ensure smooth hand‑over from development to series production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technological and manufacturing feasibility assessments for new products.
• Create and maintain work plans, bills of materials and update the PPS system.
• Support prototype production, test execution and evaluation.
• Manage and optimise production processes, implementing changes to improve efficiency.
• Conduct time studies using REFA standards, determine production times and revise them as needed.
• Calculate preliminary product costs and act as the assembly contact during problem‑solving activities.
• Apply KVP, 5S, Lean, VAVE and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Train new team members and ensure compliance with HSE, ISO and international trade regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing feasibility assessments and process optimisation.
• Familiarity with REFA time‑study methodology and cost estimation.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen and VAVE.
• Ability to work safely in compliance with HSE, ISO and ITC regulations.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to train colleagues.
