Manufacturing Technician II (T2) – Cleanroom Assembly

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The position involves assembling, repairing and testing electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components for semiconductor and advanced‑display systems.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to build, repair and test equipment assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Operate test fixtures, electronic measurement tools, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, enter data on progress and labor, and perform computer programming or software installations when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma; 1–2 years experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing or comparable industry.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Associate’s degree or technical certifications are preferred, along with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly and repair.

• Computer programming basics and software installation.
