Manufacturing Technician II – First Shift

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician II works hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, testing and repairing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role involves assembling electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components and ensuring they meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to build, repair and test assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot faults and correct errors.
• Follow all safety standards, maintain a clean work area and report hazards promptly.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify functionality.
• Enter progress, labor and expense data into computer systems.
• Audit incoming parts, inspect for defects and ensure required components are available.

Required profile

• Developed analytical skills and ability to apply scientific methods to routine tasks.
• Good understanding of how the team integrates with other functions.
• No supervisory responsibilities; works independently within established procedures.
• Capable of recognizing and solving typical problems in the work area.
• Effective communication skills for exchanging technical information.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly and repair.
