Manufacturing Technician II – Cleanroom Assembly

About the role

You will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The position involves electro‑mechanical assembly, troubleshooting and documentation to support advanced semiconductor and display technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair or test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic components.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot issues and execute repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Complete job documentation, record labor and expense data, and perform computer programming, software installs or repairs when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum).
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or comparable industry/military background.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and willingness to expand technical skills.

Required skills
