Manufacturing Technician I – 2nd Shift

About the role

Join Applied Materials as a Manufacturing Technician I on the 2nd shift, working in a cleanroom environment to build, test, and repair high‑value display and wafer fabrication equipment. You will contribute to the production of equipment that underpins AI‑driven semiconductor and advanced‑display technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists to assemble, repair, and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot faults, and correct errors.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies and components.
• Enter progress, expense, and labor data into computer systems and may perform computer programming, repairs, or software installations.
• Conduct parts audits, inspect for defects, and ensure required components are available for build and test.

Required profile

• Applies basic analytical or scientific methods to perform straightforward tasks.
• Understands how duties integrate with the team and broader organization.
• No supervisory responsibilities; works independently following standard operating procedures.
