Manufacturing Technical Coordinator (Night Shift)

About the role

The Manufacturing Technical Coordinator will work the night shift in the semiconductor IC Sort area in Santa Rosa, CA. The role supports both production and R&D circuit manufacturing, collaborating with engineering, trainers, and operators. This is a 1‑year 11‑month contract position.

Key responsibilities

• Work in an ESD‑controlled environment and follow strict safety protocols.
• Handle and process delicate wafer and chip materials according to product documentation and engineering specifications.
• Set up and run computer programs and semi‑automated equipment to pick and sort integrated circuits.
• Perform visual inspection and sort operations on integrated circuits.
• Interpret hardware documentation to operate sophisticated tools.
• Raise concerns through the standardized chain of command.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by learning new skills and adapting processes.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently while aligning with team objectives.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling fragile components.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Experience in clean‑room or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functional departments.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices.
