Manufacturing Resource Planner II – PSO

About the role

The Manufacturing Resource Planner II – PSO will support Solar Turbines' gas compressor overhaul and restage team. You will work closely with engineering, business development, and the broader planning organization to ensure the right inventory levels and material availability for projects.

Key responsibilities

• Sequence work to meet targeted delivery dates for multiple critical orders.
• Process and create orders for project and restocking demand.
• Set safety stock and reorder point parameters.
• Create multi‑year parts forecasts based on product forecasts.
• Support S&OP inquiries with material availability information.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply‑chain to align inventory strategy with product variability, supplier capacity, and cost control.
• Adjust inventory plans based on sales forecasts, custom orders, and demand‑driven orders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in parts planning using an ERP system (Infor LN, SAP or equivalent).
• Relevant degree or APICS CPIM certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (Infor LN, SAP).
• Experience building reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• Advanced Excel skills – pivot tables, charts, queries, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, SUMIF, etc.
