Manufacturing Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead a machine‑shop team in Buffalo, NY. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day operational ownership, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 30‑40 machinists in a machine‑shop environment.
• Partner with the Manufacturing Manager to create and execute Value Stream Improvement Plans.
• Set, track and achieve short‑ and long‑term team goals aligned with corporate strategy.
• Utilize standard work documents to maximize personnel and equipment efficiency.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate and develop team members.
• Address employee‑relations issues promptly and manage counseling, discipline and performance feedback.
• Ensure accurate time reporting and consistent application of personnel policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 5 years of direct management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
