Manufacturing Planner – Production Scheduling

About the role

The Manufacturing Planner ensures on‑time creation and delivery of work orders in line with the Master Production Schedule. The role focuses on coordinating systematic processes, controlling costs, and supporting continuous improvement across production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage planning and production execution data, including work orders, prioritization, capacity constraints, and monitoring.
• Maintain handovers between Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality.
• Interface with production teams and Procurement/Planning specialists to prioritize items and resolve demand‑supply imbalances.
• Provide daily guidance to the Production team on schedule status and prepare shortage/backlog reports.
• Monitor progress against schedules, intervene to keep deliveries on track, and flag potential interruptions.
• Identify waste‑reduction, lead‑time shortening, and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement using Manufacturing System tools and root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain master data, systematic processes, and enhance automated tools for efficiency.
• Review and report financial impacts of production activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of direct SAP experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with MRP and scheduling.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
