Manufacturing Equipment Engineer

About the role

As a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer you will develop and maintain methods, operating sequences, and processes for fabricating parts, sub‑assemblies and final assemblies. You will collaborate with other engineering functions to release product improvements and new products while applying lean, automation and continuous‑improvement principles to reduce costs and boost quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventative‑maintenance activities for process equipment and vacuum chambers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and system‑level failures and develop corrective procedures.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, PFMEA and generate actionable reports.
• Recommend tooling, fixtures and DFx solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop and maintain fabrication methods, operating sequences and test procedures.
• Analyze production data to identify equipment and process improvement opportunities.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred) with 4‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems on the job.
• Experience with ALD and vacuum process equipment is highly desired.
• Familiarity with laser‑marking equipment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to support occasional weekend work.
