About the role
ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to support the development, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and production equipment. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams on the shop floor to enhance production performance and help scale prototypes to high‑volume manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and production equipment.
- Improve process capability, quality, throughput, and overall efficiency.
- Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and shop‑floor observations.
- Support equipment commissioning, startup, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in production line launches, equipment qualification, and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics such as quality, yield, productivity, and reliability.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1‑4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, automation, or production environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands‑on problem‑solving approach.
- Ability to work directly on the manufacturing floor and collaborate with operations, quality, and technician teams.
