Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a high‑visibility transformation of machining and support operations within its Advanced Integrated Manufacturing (AIM) facility. The role is based onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY, and reports to the Site Manufacturing Engineering Director.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute the transfer of machinery, tooling, and processes to the new AIM facility.
• Develop and deliver tactical and operational plans with clear KPIs.
• Maintain a rolling 10‑year capital plan and oversee equipment selection, justification, acquisition, and onboarding.
• Monitor target vs. actual performance for assigned parts and drive continuous improvement.
• Define and execute manufacturing engineering strategies aligned with site and divisional objectives.
• Identify, justify, and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities.
• Lead a cross‑functional engineering team across machining, tool design, and special processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in machining environments.
• 3+ years of proven leadership experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
