Manufacturing Engineer – Process Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer – Process Planner to own and continuously improve assigned manufacturing processes at Bosch Group in Charleston. You will develop deep expertise in specific technologies such as welding, pressing and honing, and work closely with Line Planners to ensure long‑term technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for assigned processes, defining and maintaining process standards.
• Lead root‑cause investigations using structured methods (8D, A3, DOE, SPC, PFMEA) and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity, cost, cycle time, yield and equipment utilization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, control plans, PFMEAs and define critical process parameters.
• Validate new equipment, tooling and manufacturing technologies, support equipment commissioning and production launches.
• Provide technical coaching to Line Planners, Operations, Maintenance and Quality teams and share best practices.
