Manufacturing Engineer – Medical Device

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its Foot & Ankle business unit in Houston. The role focuses on designing and developing new or improved manufacturing processes and ensuring efficient transfer of product designs into production within the medical device sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage adherence to prescribed procedures to meet or exceed product quality goals.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs, collaborating with equipment vendors, and gathering operator feedback.
• Develop manufacturing methods by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing equipment and tooling.
• Serve on cross‑functional teams as the manufacturing expert for new product introductions.
• Assure product and process quality through testing methods, establishing standards, and confirming capabilities.
• Execute deliverables related to CAPA, project management, and quality systems.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed to satisfy quality system requirements.
