Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Zulu Pods is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of precision aerospace components. You will work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet strict AS9100 standards and tolerance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Program and adjust CNC toolpaths in MasterCAM for lathe and milling operations.
• Conduct inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control to optimize production processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement necessary adjustments.
• Document work processes and adhere to AS9100 quality control standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of CNC programming experience in aerospace or defense.
• Proficiency in MasterCAM for both lathe and milling.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, CAD, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and quality inspection procedures.
• US citizenship with eligibility for security clearance.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
