Manufacturing Engineer II (ALD) – Day/Swing Shift

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer II (ALD) will develop and maintain fabrication methods, work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams, and apply lean and continuous‑improvement principles to drive cost‑effective, high‑quality production in Austin.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply Design for Excellence (DFx) principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality.
• Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and perform root‑cause analysis including Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong conceptual knowledge for everyday problem‑solving.
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to clearly explain complex information.
