Manufacturing Engineer – Advanced Grid Solutions

About the role

GridWrap, Inc. is seeking three full‑time Manufacturing Engineers to develop and scale production processes for its grid‑enhancing and grid‑hardening products. You will work closely with design, operations, quality, and supply‑chain teams to turn innovative concepts into reliable, cost‑effective manufacturing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling, and fixtures.
• Analyze production data to improve quality, throughput, and safety.
• Support new product introduction from prototype through full production.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with external partners, machine shops, and suppliers.
• Participate in design‑for‑manufacturability (DFM) reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong foundation in manufacturing engineering principles and processes.
• Knowledge of materials science, especially composite materials and processing methods.
• Hands‑on experience with machining, fabricators, and contract manufacturers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience creating engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Structured problem‑solving techniques: root‑cause analysis, 5 Whys, Pareto analysis.
• Statistical process control (SPC) and basic statistical methods.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
