Manufacturing & Automation Engineer

About the role

This full‑time night‑shift position supports manufacturing operations by troubleshooting equipment, improving processes, and optimizing automation. The engineer ensures production efficiency, quality compliance, and successful delivery of engineering projects in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to manufacturing teams for equipment troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and overall production efficiency while adhering to cGMP quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and servo systems.
• Support hardware and software modifications for process control systems and develop SOPs for automation equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues across manufacturing equipment; assist with installation, modification, and validation of mechanical systems.
• Manage medium‑scale engineering projects from initiation to completion, tracking progress, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
• Execute equipment validation, maintain change‑control documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Apply 6S principles, identify process improvement opportunities, and promote a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• At least 1 year of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong project management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

Required skills

• Automation systems: PLCs, HMIs/MMIs, robotics, servo systems.
• CAD software and engineering tools.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Basic understanding of process control systems.
