Manager, UHealth Management Reporting

About the role

The University of Miami's UHealth system is seeking a full‑time Manager to lead Management Reporting within the UHealth Finance Department. This role coordinates daily financial activities, prepares reports, and supports strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls.
• Identify trends in the competitive environment and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Review financial reports for accuracy and ensure proper recording of information.
• Analyze operating budgets, detect control deficiencies, and recommend adjustments.
• Establish and assess internal controls and ensure compliance with university policies.
• Train staff on internal controls, university policies, and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance or reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, and evaluate department operations.
• Proven leadership, motivation, and training capabilities.
