Manager, Technical Support

About the role

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is looking for a Manager, Technical Support to build and scale the frontline support operation for the Flexrotor UAS platform. The role will be based in either Bingen, Washington or Grand Prairie, Texas, with an initial 90‑day on‑site immersion in Bingen to learn the team and facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and continuously improve the technical support department for the Flexrotor VTOL UAV.
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians, setting processes, metrics and escalation procedures.
• Serve as primary interface with customers, handling troubleshooting, issue resolution and feedback loops.
• Coordinate with product, engineering and operations to ensure timely fixes and updates.
• Travel regularly to Bingen for training, collaboration and on‑site support.

Required profile

• Proven engineering leadership experience, preferably in aerospace or unmanned systems.
• Start‑up mindset with ability to create a department from the ground up.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and internal coordination.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the onboarding period and thereafter.
