Manager, Student Employment Development

About the role

Louisiana State University is seeking a Manager for Student Employment Development to lead the creation of a scalable experiential learning framework for on‑campus student jobs. Reporting to the Program Director, the role works within the Student Employment Office of the LSU Olinde Career Center.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design and lead the implementation of a scalable experiential learning framework that turns student employment into intentional, career‑connected experiences.
• Develop training materials, tools, and resources that enable supervisors and departments to deliver high‑impact student employment experiences.
• Design assessment and partnership strategies that enhance the institutional value of student employment and support student success.
• Work with the Program Director to redefine on‑campus employment as a high‑impact experiential learning practice.

Required profile

• Experience in student employment, career development, or related higher‑education programs.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple campus departments and supervisors.
• Strong communication and project‑management skills.
