Manager, Strategic Accounts – Shockwave

About the role

The Manager, Strategic Accounts will drive business growth for Shockwave Medical by building and maintaining strategic relationships with hospital‑level customers and leading cross‑functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and sustain long‑term relationships with key hospital customers and influence IDN‑level strategies.
• Drive innovative solutions and partnerships within targeted accounts, collaborating with sales leaders to close opportunities.
• Navigate the VAC approval process for new products and communicate value propositions to stakeholders.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams on marketing content, external tactics, and overall account strategy.
• Measure and report on KOL engagements to refine market access strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of territory sales experience in medical devices, preferably cardiovascular interventional space.
• Proven sales experience with catheter technology, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, or coronary products.
• Strong understanding of contracting and VAC processes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
