Manager, Processors & Debit Networks

About the role

The Home Depot is looking for a Manager, Processors & Debit Networks to define and implement strategies that drive incremental credit sales and profits. The role focuses on new account generation, increasing sales from existing customers, improving operational efficiency and creating new features or services that improve the customer experience. It works with areas such as Information Technology, Strategic Business Development, At Home Services and PRO to develop credit programs supporting strategic initiatives. The position typically reports to the Senior Manager Credit Services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new financial programs, promotions, products and services, then manage their design, development and implementation based on projected profitability.
• Oversee detailed project design and implementation plans, using project and people management skills to deliver projects on time and to high quality.
• Assess financial and operational results of new programs against goals, recommend rollouts, and develop implementation strategies and budgets where needed.
• Work with Finance to set departmental and program budgets and manage expenditures within approved budgets.
• Supervise direct reports, review their work, and advise on hiring, performance appraisals and professional development.

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Education: a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job; no additional education required.
• Experience: 6 years preferred; no additional years required.
• Travel: typically 5% to 20% overnight; mostly sits in a comfortable indoor setting, with occasional need to move or lift light items.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of credit marketing disciplines such as account acquisition and activation, loyalty marketing and sales promotion.
• Strong grasp of project management and ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects.
• Proven record of developing new financial products or services.
• Time management, data-driven storytelling with PowerPoint, and strong verbal and written communication.
• Strategic thinking and decisive decision-making.
