Manager, NPI Demand Planning

About the role

Lead a demand planning team focused on new product introduction (NPI) and pilot manufacturing. Translate evolving project requirements into executable, MRP‑driven material plans and partner across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and program management to improve material readiness and schedule predictability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of demand planning professionals.
• Convert early project requirements into time‑phased, MRP‑driven demand.
• Oversee demand intake, BOM validation, lead‑time analysis, and material planning.
• Drive material‑readiness reviews, resolve shortages, supply constraints, and schedule risks.
• Establish ownership, planning standards, performance metrics, and escalation processes.
• Improve planning systems, reporting, and cross‑functional workflows.

Required profile

• In‑depth understanding of demand planning concepts and related supply‑chain functions.
• Proven ability to lead a homogeneous team and adapt plans to operational challenges.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational issues.
• Experience influencing and persuading internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage department budget, costs, and resources.

• OneApp planning platform.
• Planning BOM and demand slotting processes.
