Manager, New Hire Services & Onboarding Process Design & Optimization Lead

About the role

The Manager, New Hire Services & Onboarding Process Design & Optimization Lead will shape Mastercard’s global onboarding experience. You will design, optimize and continuously improve the end‑to‑end new‑hire journey, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency and a positive experience from offer acceptance through early tenure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document scalable onboarding processes covering pre‑hire data intake, day‑one readiness, onboarding transactions and integrations with payroll and benefits.
• Apply leading‑practice process architecture and enablement frameworks across all onboarding domains.
• Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Technology, Risk and regional onboarding teams to ensure consistent, compliant outcomes.
• Define standards, controls and metrics to measure onboarding effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Translate HR strategy into actionable, repeatable processes and oversee their execution by HR Operations and Shared Services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations, talent acquisition or related onboarding functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to design and optimize complex processes.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional partners globally.
• Demonstrated ability to drive compliance and operational efficiency.
