Manager, Major Giving West

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Manager, Major Giving West to support its USA Philanthropy West team. In this position you will work closely with senior Officers to cultivate, solicit, and steward high‑net‑worth donors and prospects, helping to secure critical revenue for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with assigned Officer(s) to execute fundraising strategies for high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Draft and manage correspondence, letters, and contact reports for donor interactions.
• Coordinate payment documentation and ensure compliance with IRC and donor policies.
• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and briefings for external prospects and internal strategy sessions.
• Supervise donor expectations, stewardship reporting, and timelines.
• Act as liaison between donors, prospects, and field staff to convey information accurately.
• Partner with Prospect Research, Analytics, and Operations teams to oversee the full donor cycle.
