About the role

An Assistant Store Manager at Boba Guys leads the store’s daily operations, ensuring exceptional hospitality and meeting financial goals. This full‑time, on‑site position in San Francisco focuses on team development, guest experience, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, inspire, and retain Bobaristas and Shift Leads through coaching, training, and succession planning.
• Model hospitality standards, address guest feedback, and uphold the company values of Quality, Transparency, and Giving a Damn.
• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, scheduling, inventory, visual merchandising, and store promotions to achieve financial targets.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and asset protection, including cash handling and compliance with policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead a team of up to 20 members and provide excellent customer service.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Availability to work full‑time (34 hours) with variable mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
