About the role

OnX is seeking a Growth Engineering Manager to lead a team of skilled Growth Engineers focused on optimizing the in‑app user experience. The role sits within the Growth Domain team, reports to the VP of Data, and is responsible for driving experiments that improve key growth metrics across OnX’s outdoor adventure products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, prioritization, and implementation of experiments to improve growth metrics, balancing competing priorities.
• Manage three or more direct reports, set performance expectations, address underperformance, and develop talent.
• Act as an escalation point for complex cross‑team issues, making high‑judgment decisions aligned with long‑term strategy.
• Define structure, milestones, and success criteria to increase experiment velocity and quality at scale.
• Lead cross‑department projects, aligning stakeholders around shared goals and outcomes.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with a strong technical background and deep understanding of mobile app ecosystems.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and delivering measurable growth outcomes.
• Ability to make data‑driven decisions and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
