Manager III (M3) – Customer Engineer

About the role

As a Manager III (M3) Customer Engineer you will lead a district‑wide team that builds and sustains strong relationships with semiconductor and display customers, while acting as the primary liaison with Applied Materials product divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships across the district, including regular visits and acting as the primary interface with product divisions.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of customer engineers, handling salary and career planning, performance appraisals, and mentorship programs.
• Oversee account planning with District Sales Engineer, financial forecasting, cost efficiency, and system installation projects.
• Execute escalation procedures, manage RMA processes, and ensure accurate tracking of engineer hours and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set objectives, and conduct performance reviews in a technical environment.
• Strong analytical judgment to solve complex customer issues and make decisions within defined policies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to gain cooperation, present technical information, and uphold company ethical standards.
