Manager III, Customer Engineer (M3) – PDC

Key responsibilities

• Forecast financial, manpower, and operational requirements for key businesses such as start‑up, warranty, service agreements, and paid service.
• Identify and pursue service‑agreement business in collaboration with marketing and sales.
• Manage start‑ups regarding time and cost requirements.
• Oversee local inventories and RMA procedures.
• Maintain DSO in line with targets.
• Control system start‑up and warranty costs under reserve.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with company service and system performance.
• Interview, hire, and train customer engineers to support regional business.
• Promote employee satisfaction through communication of business progress, goal setting, and training/career development plans.
• Enforce appropriate safety practices among customer engineers and develop CE skills.
• Spot and develop managerial and specialist talent.
• Escalate system downtimes according to valid procedures to ensure earliest possible return to service.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting as required.
• Achieve guaranteed uptime and other parameters sold to customers.
• Promote quality‑improvement processes to reduce cycle time, drive continuous technical performance improvement, and empower the workforce.
