Manager, Fashion Retail Tech Projects

About the role

As a Project Manager within the Fashion Technology Strategy team, you will lead strategic technology initiatives that modernise the tools, systems, and capabilities supporting Chanel’s US boutique network. Your work will directly improve retail operations, equip boutique teams with digital solutions, and create a seamless experience for clients and advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end planning, execution, and monitoring of technology projects such as next‑generation POS rollout and AI‑enabled labor scheduling tools.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and coordinate across multiple workstreams, vendors, and technology partners.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring alignment with boutique operational goals.
• Collaborate with Boutique Excellence, Client Engagement, and Technology teams to define scope, objectives, KPIs, and deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation and status reporting using Atlassian tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in retail or retail‑technology environments.
• Strong organisational, collaborative, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work at the intersection of business and technology, taking direction while showing initiative.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems and in‑store technology platforms.
• Familiarity with retail workforce tools.
• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency with Atlassian project management tools, specifically Confluence and JIRA.
