Manager - Evening Programs

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Manager for its Evening Programs to oversee college services and administrative functions during evening hours. This role serves as the primary point of contact for evening students, faculty, and staff, ensuring smooth operations and a safe campus environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee evening college services, handling urgent or sensitive issues.
• Coordinate with daytime staff to maintain seamless operations.
• Act as liaison to campus law enforcement and manage building security, parking, and emergency preparedness.
• Address complaints and needs of students, faculty, staff, and external customers.
• Serve as on‑site manager for emergencies, safety incidents, and faculty issues during evenings.
• Facilitate communication between Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and evening adjunct faculty.
• Monitor personnel compliance with TCSG policy manual and department procedures.
• Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and training materials related to distance education and instructional design.
• Provide technical assistance for Learning Management System (LMS) support requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in post‑secondary education, technical support, or community college environments preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement.
