Manager, Electrical Design Technical Program Management

About the role

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies are seeking a seasoned manager to lead the Electrical Hardware Technical Program Management team for a portfolio of Infotainment and Connectivity ECUs. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, from hardware design through validation, ensuring alignment with vehicle‑level schedules and brand partner expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing team of ECU Technical Program Managers, setting goals and providing mentorship.
• Develop and maintain integrated engineering and delivery schedules, tracking progress against HW/SW integration critical paths.
• Serve as the primary interface between the Infotainment/Connectivity ECU team and cross‑functional partners, coordinating suppliers and program milestones.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate programmatic risks to keep pre‑production builds on track.
• Drive documentation and process‑improvement initiatives in partnership with senior TPM and engineering leadership.
• Champion “shift‑left” opportunities to accelerate learning and shorten development cycles.
