Manager, Data Stewardship

About the role

Invesco is seeking a hands‑on Manager, Data Stewardship to lead the stewardship of master data across the enterprise. The role combines people leadership with deep expertise in data quality, master data management and governance, ensuring critical business information is trusted, controlled and usable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Data Stewards, setting goals and driving performance.
• Own day‑to‑day stewardship activities for assigned master data domains, guaranteeing data accuracy, availability and fitness for purpose.
• Partner with Data Product Owners, Data Governance, business stakeholders, data architects and technology teams to define data requirements, quality rules, SLAs and remediation workflows.
• Define, standardize and monitor data‑quality metrics; create dashboards and reports that provide visibility into data health.
• Identify and maintain critical data elements, metadata, data dictionaries and related documentation.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and continuously improve stewardship processes and controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data‑stewardship or master‑data‑management teams.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and master data concepts.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear data, process and technology requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of influencing across functions.
