Manager, Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead its Deals – Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services practice. You will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction structures for complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other transformational events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements focused on capital markets accounting advisory, including M&A, restructuring and IPO preparation.
• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring budgeting, timelines and quality standards are met.
• Advise clients on GAAP financial reporting, equity compensation and other capital market transactions.
• Analyze linkages between financial systems and transaction structures to identify value‑creation opportunities.
• Mentor and manage junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Address conflicts and engage stakeholders in critical conversations to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Active CPA license or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client projects and manage teams.
