Manager, Business Development – Autonomous Vehicle Partnerships

About the role

Uber’s Global Business Development team is looking for a Manager to lead strategic partnerships across the autonomous‑vehicle value chain for its Mobility and Delivery businesses. You will negotiate complex vehicle platform integrations and work closely with Operations, Product, and other cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑year, high‑impact deals with autonomous‑vehicle software providers, OEMs, and other ecosystem partners.
• Collaborate with Ops and Product leadership to shape partnership strategy and drive business impact.
• Build consensus and secure timely execution support from senior executives and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with senior executives of current and prospective partners.
• Refine deal frameworks and negotiate terms that balance Uber’s goals with partner objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, management consulting, private equity, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and influence senior leaders.
• Strong emotional intelligence and the capacity to advocate for partner needs while protecting Uber’s interests.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of autonomous‑vehicle platforms and integration requirements.
• Experience negotiating complex, technical partnership agreements.
