Make Ready/Turn Technician – Summerwell Deerhaven

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Make Ready/Turn Technician to prepare vacant single‑family units at the Summerwell Deerhaven community for new residents. You will ensure each home meets the company’s quality standards before re‑leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Maintain common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answering questions and addressing maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual labor throughout the workday.
• Availability Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
• Commitment to safety and proper use of tools and equipment.
