Make Ready/Turn Technician (Northerly)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make Ready/Turn Technician to ensure vacant apartments are prepared to market‑ready standards. You will work on a mid‑rise, stabilized community of 297 units, performing a range of technical and mechanical tasks to ready homes for new residents.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist before resident move‑in.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect, repair, or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Perform touch‑up painting for vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Maintain common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completion of the make‑ready checklist and other maintenance records promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and perform physical labor safely.
• Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Commitment to cost‑saving practices, such as repairing rather than replacing parts.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
