Make-Ready Technician (Reserve) – Lake Jackson

About the role

The Make-Ready Technician ensures vacant apartments are prepared to the company’s quality standards for re‑leasing. This onsite role involves a variety of technical and mechanical tasks to turn units into market‑ready homes efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements required before a new resident moves in, following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under the direction of the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist with maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing trash and debris.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical, hands‑on maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail to meet established quality standards.
• Capability to follow checklists and work under supervision.

Required skills

• Caulking and sealing of fixtures and openings.
• Sheetrock inspection and repair.
• Touch‑up painting.
• General maintenance and repair of apartment units.
