Make Ready Technician – Cascades at Southern Hills

About the role

The Make Ready Technician ensures vacant apartments are turned over to market‑ready condition quickly and to Greystar’s quality standards. This hands‑on role supports resident satisfaction and efficient leasing by completing repairs, finishing work, and maintaining common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all required repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace it.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Maintain grounds, breezeways, and pool areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by fixing parts instead of replacing them when possible.
• Complete make‑ready documentation promptly and accurately.
• Follow Greystar safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow checklists and safety procedures.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on timely, high‑quality turn‑over of units.
