Make-Ready Technician (Apartment Turnover)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make‑Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartment units for new residents. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before re‑leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist prior to resident move‑in.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Maintain common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Follow safety policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions and address maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Willingness to follow documented procedures and safety guidelines.
