Make Ready Technician – 10 West Edge

About the role

The Make Ready Technician ensures vacant apartments are prepared to Greystar’s quality standards for re‑leasing. Working on a high‑rise, stabilized property, you will perform technical and mechanical tasks to turn units into market‑ready homes.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements to apartments before resident move‑in, following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Document completion of checklists and maintenance tasks promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answering questions and addressing maintenance concerns.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed checklists.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and operate tools safely.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and team members.
