Make Ready Specialist – The Tobin Estate Phase 3

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments at The Tobin Estate Phase 3 for new residents. The role focuses on completing repairs, improvements, and cleaning tasks to ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before re‑leasing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all required repairs and upgrades on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage, repair or replace it, and apply touch‑up paint to both vacant and occupied units.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly for supervisory review.
• Adhere to safety policies, attend routine safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
• Willingness to follow cost‑control practices, repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
