Make-Ready Specialist – The Quarry Alamo Heights

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Make-Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments at The Quarry Alamo Heights for new residents. The role involves completing repairs, touch‑up painting, and general upkeep to ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all required repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Apply touch‑up paint to vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Maintain common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, cleaning, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed tasks and submit make‑ready checklists promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete OSHA‑related training.
• Provide courteous service to residents, answer questions, and address maintenance complaints efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and lift objects for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Willingness to follow cost‑control practices and use tools responsibly.
