Make-Ready Specialist – The Caroline (TX)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Make-Ready Specialist to prepare vacant apartments for new residents at its The Caroline community in Texas. You will ensure each unit meets Greystar’s quality standards before it is re‑leased.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Perform touch‑up painting for vacant and occupied units.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document all work completed in the make‑ready checklist and maintenance logs.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Customer‑service mindset when interacting with residents and staff.
