Make Ready Specialist – Residential Turnover

About the role

The Make Ready Specialist ensures vacant apartments are prepared to Greystar’s high standards for re‑leasing. You will perform technical and mechanical work to turn units into market‑ready homes, supporting resident satisfaction and occupancy goals.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements on vacant units following the community’s make‑ready checklist.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair or replace it.
• Perform touch‑up painting on vacant and occupied units under supervision.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, including trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document all work and checklist completion promptly.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined spaces.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Willingness to follow safety and risk‑management procedures.
