Make Ready Specialist – Gramercy at Northline

About the role

The Make Ready Specialist ensures vacant apartments at Gramercy at Northline are turned over quickly and meet Greystar’s quality standards. You will perform a range of technical and mechanical tasks to prepare units for new residents.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all repairs and improvements listed on the community’s make‑ready checklist before new move‑ins.
• Caulk and seal windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers as needed.
• Inspect and repair or replace damaged sheetrock.
• Perform touch‑up painting for vacant and occupied units under supervisor direction.
• Maintain common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs and signage.
• Document completed work and checklist items promptly.
• Follow safety policies, attend safety meetings and report incidents.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Customer‑service mindset when interacting with residents and team members.

Required skills

• Sheetrock repair and replacement.
• Painting and touch‑up techniques.
• Caulking and sealing around fixtures.
• Pressure washing of exterior surfaces.
• General maintenance and tool usage.
