Maintenance Worker II – Plant Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Worker II supports Kingman Healthcare’s plant operations by ensuring that buildings, equipment, and grounds are kept in safe and functional condition. This full‑time, safety‑sensitive position involves routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and participation in the fire brigade and hazmat teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds, performing routine inspections and repairs.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC repairs.
• Serve on the fire brigade and hazmat response team.
• Complete work orders promptly and provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
• Work flexible shifts and respond to after‑hours emergencies as needed.
• Perform building security duties when required.
• Assist with minor refrigeration system maintenance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (official transcript required at hire).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license (must be 21 years or older).
• Minimum five years of maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Physical ability to lift 50‑70 lb, climb ladders, and work in various positions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hand and machine tools.
• Understanding of maintenance procedures.
• Experience with landscaping tasks.
• Basic electrical, HVAC, and plumbing repair skills.
• Familiarity with minor IT controls.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for hazardous materials.
